Since 1979, Don Swenholt has been helping professionals communicate simply, clearly, and powerfully. The U.S. Senate, NASA, Northrop Grumman and others rely on Don to deliver proven, results-driven training and development activities for their staff. Additional clients include Acumen Solutions, NOAA, NIH, the IRS, and the U.S. Departments of Defense, Commerce, Treasury, and Health and Human Services.

Don offers his clients four avenues for boosting their performance: coaching, training, facilitation, and consulting. He provides transformational executive coaching for leaders in the public and private sectors. He delivers high-impact business communications training for Government and industry nationwide.  He facilitates engaging, outcome-driven meetings and retreats. He also tackles special communications projects for his customers, from creating global web-based training programs to preparing bid teams to win contracts by delivering compelling and persuasive presentations.

Don studied English and psychology at Vanderbilt. He earned his teaching credentials from George Peabody College, and he is committed to continuous professional development and life-long learning.

When he isn’t leading workshops, Don enjoys hiking in wilderness areas. He’s an avid fan of all kinds of music, from  Rossini to Rubblebucket. He has also written scenarios for television production and provided the narration for educational videos at the National Zoo in Washington, DC.

Don lives in Washington, with his wife, Tina, and their cats, Rufus and Roosevelt.
