Don Swenholt

About Don Swenholt

Since 1979, Don Swenholt has been helping professionals communicate simply, clearly, and powerfully. The U.S. Senate, NASA, and Northrop Grumman rely on Don to deliver proven, results-driven training and development activities for their staff. Other clients include, Nextel, Acumen Solutions, NOAA, NIH, the IRS, and the U.S. Departments of Defense, Commerce, Treasury, and Health and Human Services.

Don delivers seminars for Government and industry nationwide and abroad. He facilitates engaging meetings and retreats. He provides executive coaching for leaders in the public and private sectors. He also tackles special communications projects for his customers, from creating global web-based training programs to leading team retreats. In addition, Don serves as a guest instructor at The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.

Don studied English and psychology at Vanderbilt and earned his teaching credentials from George Peabody College. When he isn't leading workshops, Don enjoys hiking in wilderness areas. He's presently planning his first safari in Botswana. Don's an avid fan of all kinds of music, from Monk to Mozart, Weezer to Puccini. He has also written scenarios for television production at WPLN in Nashville and provided the narration for educational videos at the National Zoo in Washington.

Don lives in Washington, DC, with his wife, Tina, and their cats, Rufus and Roosevelt.
